ICCE Ways of Being

As a relatively new entity, ICCE continues to evolve and grow. Established in 2019, ICCE operates independently of government: it’s non-partisan, non-political and not-for-profit. By developing and implementing various policies and programs, the ICCE team supports First Nation, Inuit and MÃĐtis communities relevant to cumulative effects across Canada.

The ICCE team is led by an executive director, and comprises a varied slate of professionals and skill sets reflecting the needs of this leading-edge Indigenous organization — a key player in the field of cumulative effects and an employer of choice.

Capacity Building

We are building capacity within ICCE and in Inuit, MÃĐtis and First Nations communities across Canada honouring the Two-Eyed Seeing approach.

Knowledge Sharing

We are cultivating an ecosystem that supports respectful and intergenerational knowledge sharing and a community centered approach to learning.
